A powder tank trailer is a specialized vehicle designed for transporting powdery and granular materials, including bulk transport of dry, powdery materials with particle diameters no larger than 0.1mm, such as cement, flour, lime powder, ore powder, fly ash, chemical powder, stone powder, and granular alkali. Unloading process of a powder tank trailer: The core operating principle of a powder tank trailer is to fluidize the powder using compressed air before transporting it to its destination. The specific steps are as follows:

  • An air compressor installed in the trailer generates high-pressure air and transports it through a pipeline to the fluidized bed or vaporizer plate at the bottom of the tank.

  • The high-pressure air evenly permeates the powder through the vaporizer, thoroughly mixing the powder and air, creating a "fluid" state. The bottom of the tank then tilts slightly toward the discharge port, and the material begins to flow, assisted by gravity.

  • Under pressure, the liquid powder is transported through the discharge pipe at the bottom to the target storage tank. A valve adjusts the flow rate for unloading.

  • When the powder tanker is empty, the air source and valve are closed, and any remaining air is released through the exhaust valve to prevent pressure buildup.
