Recently, a client from the Dominican Republic purchased two SAGMOTO dump trucks from DERUN AUTO for transporting sand at construction sites.
SAGMOTO dump trucks are highly popular in the Dominican Republic. These vehicles are equipped with a 420-horsepower Cummins engine, delivering robust power.
They also feature a FAST transmission paired with a hydraulic retarder, ensuring the trucks maintain controlled speed when navigating long downhill stretches.
HANDE axles—comprising a 9,500 kg front axle and 16,000 kg dual-stage reduction rear axles—provide the necessary structural support, giving the trucks a load capacity of 35 tons.
The dump body is constructed with an 8mm-thick floor and 6mm-thick side walls. It is also equipped with an electric tarp system, ensuring environmental protection during the transport of sand.
